I thought I would check in with everyone and see how the last half of '08 went.
Things are good for Ronda, the kids, and I although there have been some job speedbumps along the way.
We finally have power beck after almost a week from that Ice storm that hit the central US last week.
Hope the new year is treating everyone well!

Re: Just Checkin' in!
Tue, February 3, 2009 - 11:07 AMAh man, where is my RFL tribe? I have check out a few shows just here in Lexington. A few times seeing Tim Welch play in various incarnations. FAZE COOKIE, their Rolling Stones cover band was quite the rock show. Someone called out of the crowd well into it, "Hey, could ya'll play some Stones?" AS if what they were kicking superseded The Rolling Stones themselves--definitely by the standards of what they are doing currently. Paul K played recently, who was being documentaried (to coin a word) at the show--I don't know when the teaming masses would get the viewing pleasure of that--but Matt Patterson had just been interviewed for it when I spoke to him the day before he & Tim played their countrified, Byrdsian thing, at the Green Lantern. Gnarley LOve threw down one night at Brooklyn Pizza, and I am told, as I haven't seen them in all these yrs they've been doing this, that they were particularly on that night. The Stooges easily come to mind for some of it... gotta run
