What a wonderfully profound experience! I don't have any doubts that the profoundness of yesterday was due to the sacredness of the event more so than just being outside, since I've danced outside a number of times, and with the exception of dancing on the beach with the ocean as my audience, I have not found it more than being a pleasant experience.
And an extra thank you to all the wonderful musicians--especially the drummers. I always love dancing to live drumming!!!

I am currently in lady Bridwins Wicca 101 class and participated in the ritual Saturday. Belly dancing has always raised my curiosity but I am a bit shy. You just may be the one to get me to try it! -

Tue, May 6, 2008 - 5:04 PMI think ANY Wiccan lady can benefit A LOT from bellydance. Don't be shy! It's an ABSOLUTELY perfect way to connect with the Goddess! Watching bellydance and doing it is such a profound experience!
I think this video of Rachie resonates with everyone. Even though we may have been inspired by different dancers, it can ring true for every dancer.
