my friend bill gave me his mothers caberet costumes & her saree, her name was Betty Payne & she danced in the late 70's early 80's. I got a veil, a circle skirt, bra, bedlah, earrings & finger cymbals with buckles on the elastic, I washed everything carefully by hand, & only had to do one small repair on the belt. I need advice on storing & caring for vintage caberet costumes:)! Bill asked me one small favor since his mom passed away, to ask if anyone in the dance community remembers Betty Payne, she was a cabert dancer in the late 70's early 80's. I'm also posting this in twatwaffle tribe & bellydance nation, so bear with me, I'm exicited over my findings.
