Does anyone still use the TurnAround plan? I'm not willing to pay to go back to WW and do all that stuff with the meetings and weigh-ins. I have a WW scale that tells you to a tenth of what you weigh. Its a great scale :) I know some things have changed. The last time I went, they had the TurnAround plan. You get a certain number of points and then 35 weekly allowance points. I know that was a change from banking points. Have things changed much? I have the week one booklet with the list of foods and their point worth and the point counter tool. Times are a little rough right now and I can't afford to go to the meetings. I want to try it out on my own for a little while.
So...anyone know what changes have been made to WW in the last 4 years? I think that's the last time I was there. I remember it working well for me.
(I posted this over in the WW tribe but it seems pretty inactive....last post was from last year.)

Re: Wondering...
Tue, July 8, 2008 - 12:31 PMI have the week 1 book and it does say WW Turn Around. There is a sheet on pg 19 of my book that helps you figure out your points target. You should eat the # of points in your points target daily then you have 35 weekly points to do what you want with. Remember to get a minimum of 6 servings of water in every day and eat 5 servings of fruit or veggies. That should help! -

Thu, July 10, 2008 - 12:00 AMWW is probably Weight Watchers! If interested, sometimes you can get the books at used book stores or check online for used ones! -

Thu, July 17, 2008 - 7:57 AMI absolutly *loved* WW - it basically teaches you just how to eat properly! It re-educates you on portion sizes, what's actually healthy and what just seems healthy, and gives you great suggestions and tips. Worth every penny to me - 40lbs lighter and keeping it off for going on 2 years!

Re: Wondering...
Thu, July 17, 2008 - 8:39 PMHi Diana, yes they do have the turnaround plan still. I'm on the core plan because it's simpler for a somewhat disorganized person like myself. It's a nobrainer and they still have the sliders to gauge points if something's not in your book. I'm going to the meetings at this point so I can use their scale and see my best friend that's lost 80 POUNDS on Weight Watcher's core plan. It's cool watching someone melt away like that! I've got 38 pounds to lose to get down to 120. When are check ins here?

Re: Wondering...
Fri, July 18, 2008 - 9:55 AMI do what I think is the turnaround plan, they just call it the normal points plan now. I just do it online, no meetings, no public weigh-ins. I've lost about 25lbs at this point and have kept it off for several months, I like having the 35 pts to use when I want to spoil myself ;)
