Come join us for an evening of dancing to the live music of Kara Nomadica and enjoy dance performances by area belly dancers: both professionals and students!

The evening will include open dancing to the fabulous music of the middle eastern fusion band Kara Nomadica. Their sound is inspired by traditional Arabic and Turkish rhythms and maqamat (scales) as well as modern industrial/techno music. It is their goal to not only appeal to the masses, but especially to the belly dance community. They play traditional instruments such as oud, saz, darabuka, doumbek, riq, frame drum, daholla, davul, ney and mizmar. Why have canned music when live music is available?! The evening will also include performances by Marjorie & Mirage, the Mirage School of Dance students, and guest performers! Performances will take place to the live music or during band breaks.

There will be vending by Gypsy Treasures with the latest in exotic jewelry and costume accessories and Tribe Nawaar featuring items that all will enjoy!

(The small town of Nunn is located on Hwy 85 approximately 20 miles North of Greeley, 20 miles Northeast of Fort Collins and 20 miles South of Cheyenne. The Community center is the old high school and we will have use of the whole wood floor gym, complete with stage!)

We are adding some fun fundraising activities to the Belly Bash! A very close friend of ours has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer. Many of you know him as "Big Ed" who has always run our sound at the Desert Dreams shows. Finances are always rough at times like these so we are planning a few things during the Belly Bash that will help out the family with their finances. We will be holding a Raffle for two wonderful items; one belly dancing item and one non-belly dancing item from Gypsy Treasures and a Fabulous Dessert Bar filled with tasty delicacies to top off your evening! Because of the Dessert Bar we ask that the finger food you bring to share not be a sweet.

Water will be available. No alcohol is allowed at the Community Center please.
