Workshops:
Instructor - Dahlia Moon crowned "Bellydancer of the Universe 2007"
Dahlia hails from Seattle and will be bringing her eclectic styles and talents with her!

Dahlia's dancing defies categories. She is neither Egyptian or Tribal, Fusion or Gypsy, but she is all of these rolled into one. She does not just interpret the music; she oozes it. Whether it is Middle Eastern, Jazz, Balinese or Japanese, music is part of her being. This is what you see when you watch Dahlia dance: the essence of music in physical form.
Location: 4th Avenue Dojo (Billings, MT)
**Shimmy Madness**
Start the day off with a great warm up! Learn many different shimmy concepts & then have fun with a wild shimmy workout! 10:00am-12:00pm
12:00pm-1:00pm Lunch
Many wonderful vendors will be at the dojo for a fun & easily accessible shopping experience! Vending will be available 1 hour before workshops, during lunch, and for a little while after workshops.
**Improvisation and Music Interpretation**
Learn how to break down music and interpret it easily. This is for soloists and for working out choreography. 1:00pm-3:00pm
Space is limited! SIGN UP EARLY!
$75.00 for workshops (includes lunch) if signed up before July 1st, 2009
$80.00 for workshops (includes lunch) if signed up after July 1st, 2009 (no registrations after July 31st, 2009)

The Gala Show:
An evening showcase at Venture Theatre where many unique and different styles of bellydance will be showcased. In addition to Dahlia, many dancers from across the region will come together to help celebrate the wonderful art of bellydance! This will be a one-night-only opportunity to witness the brilliance of Dahlia Moon and the beautiful women of our region's bellydance community!

Just wanted to put out a reminder for the festival in August. The workshops are filling up so if you'd like to participate in "SHIMMY MADNESS!", please sign up as soon as you can. We're going to try in get in as many people as we can, but space is limited. So, please sign up to ensure your spot. Thanks!
Also, the performer registration page is now up on the website. Please sign up if you'd like to be part of the gala showcase that evening.
At this point, we still have vendor space available if you'd like to be a part of that as well.
Feel free to send us any questions you may have. We're getting very excited (and so is Dahlia!) We can't wait to see all you lovely ladies here in August. Thank you for your support!
