Call Of Duty 4- Modern Warfare

I cannot begin to express my love for this game. Simply excellent gameplay and outstanding graphics. Looks beautiful on HD T.V. However, the game is WAY too short. Can't wait for "Assassins Creed" I'm hearing nothing but awesome things about this one. I'm gonna pick it up tomorrow. I hear only shitty things about "Kane & Lynch", which is disappointing because I was looking forward to this one. The premise just sounded like so much fun.

What are some of the best 2 player games (not online 2 player) for the X-box360? Personally, Im not into army games as I have something of an anti-establishment bias and consider them propaganda. I also dont care for sports, but love action and role playing games like Oblivion, Champions of Norrath, and Soul Caliber. What other games are fun to play 2 players?

Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation

Does anyone else love this game as much as I do? It gets more and more fun as you progress, because it really does take some time to learn all the flight skills.

I am on the Fortress level now.. its so cool flying through the canyons. With the 42" high-def LCD, this game really shines.

Did you notice if you change up the letters of "Estovakia", it almost spells out "Soviets"? :)

Half-life games

When in the shops I used to take a look and then a second look at this series but never got one. I played a demo game though and I think I will start playing this one. It has good movement mechanics. Some games movement seem to simulate fear and awe, such as having to hold down the left analog stick to run or slow to turn. I like how Half-life movement is.

Very excellent mini game. The motion and little hops one does as a marble are satisfying. I would appreciate less maze and gravity changes and more long rolls and woap de do's. I wonder if this is on disc?

Conan

Excellent to look at. It kind of comes across like CastleVania at first with combo flags twiddling around. I have HDTV, so it looks incredible. Lots of combos, similar to the Lord of The Rings titles. Hyperboria, the age of the dinosaurs they tried to keep as pets. Being a tricky wizard to people seems super, when evolution is at stake!? I had some new feelings about Conan. I pass, I've read 5 or so of his tales, if your Dad tries to get after me, I'll handle it.

I may need some of the Xbox games such as Doom III. The reverse compatibility thing will occur soon from online but I am hoping that some Xbox magazine disc will have that there, too. There is more than one Doom III. I didn't check all of them out.

Condemned: Criminal Origins

At first look, this does not look like 360 material. As I played up to level six, I decided the environments are great art. The movement is clunky and pained, as if the first person character is on behavior medicine. I attribute this to the amount of delicate investigator equipment he has. All kinds of gadgets for the heros who prevent nothing and come in later. I would only say that to a fictional premise of course. It has a decent pace and one can trance out and mangle various unholy adversaries. One cannot use stealth, but I suppose that is part of the characters plight. By level six and the wheeled dumpster ride, I had to pawn this one.

Having played previous versions on PS2, I couldn't wait!
The 'live-in' environment with boost repair and paint shops is a new twist that I have to get used to.
Read the map while driving? Oh, how I with it kept re-orienting up as the direction you are driving, not just north.
Crash mode versus Show time? Hmmm...
Losing a race and having to drive back to the start point to do over is like a drive of shame to go back and retry.

Lego Star Wars Demo game

What do you think of this? I pawned Oblivion for now so I gave this one a try. It has a tight sound score. Using the force to assemble a lego AT-AT was interesting but driving it felt impossible and I stepped on Luke and the droids too many times. More of a cinematic screen movement. Are you good at playing cinematic screen movement games?

I'm working through Oblivion, my first game buy and i'm to the part in Bruma where I'm looking for clues to find the fake vampire. Seems like an absurd cover-up to nab people. This is rated mature and it shows on the often englizzeled features of the characters. I attribute this to the portals being open to Oblivion. Will I find any golden saints (daedra)? I'm working on my alteration points and I hope to learn the spell, levitation. Introduce yourself?

dont become a victim of x-box 360 "Red Ring Of Death"

well met all,
As of july 6th Microsoft extended their x-box 360 warenty to 3 years, this also includes a back warenty, so if you purchased your 360 in the last 3 years they will pay to fix it or refund your payment if you happend to pay to get it fixed

if you attemt to "fix it yourself" you will void the warenty.

I am myself a victom of the 360 "red ring of death" or "bricking" and am on my 3rd time around in 6 months. but i still love the system!

90% of the time the issue stems from poor ventalation and over heating. causing the wires to seperate from the board. its a flaw in the system as there is not nearly enough airflow to keep the unit cool.

there are precautions you can take to avoid becomming a victom of the "red ring of death" (otherwise known as "bricking" because it turns you system into a very expensive brick)

1- make sure to keep your 360 in an open area. putting it into a wall unit or bookshelf could reduce the ability for it to stay cool.

2 - never leave the system on over night

3 - if your a hard core gamer, you may want to give the unit a rest after several hours of play.

4 - MOST IMPORTANT ... invest in a cooling unit!!!!

From the moment i got my 360 back form microsoft i went and purchased the external coolers.

I have the system mounted up on a frame and have the madcats cooler (uses its own power source & does not plug into the system) and an introcooler on the back that goes between the power cord and the unit itself. (i dont recomend coolers that are usb, or pull diirectly through the system itself as they can cause the maching to overheat more.

so keep it cool !!!

Just curious what everyones' favorites are. I just got a 360 console, and have little idea what the "best" games for it are. Certainly I'll get Halo 3. But so far all I have is Call of Duty 2, which I'm enjoying (I know it's been out for two years but it's new for me). I'm also considering Skate, Bioshock and Gears of War.

Granted we all have the FPS, which are justification enough to get the 360, Halo 3, and Gears for instance, however how many of you here are into the exploration of the massive RPG's?

Who has Oblivion, Shivering isles, and who's lining up to get Mass effect?

Anyone think that the DLC (downloadable content) not worth the price they are asking for Oblivion items (with the exception of the horse armor of course)

When Age of Conan hits the 360 (MMO), I'm checking that one out, and in a few years when Bethesda releases Fallout-3...

So who here are die-hard RPG players on the 360? (I dont think Kameo counts as an RPG, more like a platformer then RPG) Input?

Is anyone really liking this game? I juyst can't get over how cheesy it is. the storyline is bad, voiceovers are annoying. And the art direction pretty lame, it's what the future would be if you were in the 80s.
