I apologize for the strange link, but its the way tribe flows.

The blog is updated from time to time with some tips and with with current Ya/Ao events.. but overall No, I don't keep a beauty blog.

Why don't I keep one? I'm suprised I've been asked this, and i appreciate hearing that.

There are so many other fantastic beauty blogs, that it would seem almost repetitive. Besides it really brings more connection to support others :)

For example here is one I enjoyed today, especially her blog on mascaras. I agree very much with these key points:

My philosophy on makeup is

* Splurge the most on your skin care and foundation - Your skin is the most important.


* Spend a little more on eyeshadow, blush and concealer- Quality of colors are crucial too.


* Be frugal on mascara, eyeliner and lip products- These items are very disposable.


High end department store mascaras are expensive why? Because they are better?

NO

I have used Chanel, Mac, YSL, you name it I have used it. Do they work any better than lets say...
Cover Girl?

Maybe....why do I say maybe instead of no? Because I splurged on a very expensive mascara so of course I will be bias and justify my purchase by saying I bought something better because it was more expensive...but we need to get out of that mind set and understand that

Expensive Mascaras are expensive because

* The Name- Yes, you are paying for the coveted name.
* The Packaging- Have you ever noticed, expensive mascaras look prettier?
* Paying Rent- Paying rent at the mall and their sales assistants can be pricey.

Look how purdy these mascaras are...buying one of these mascara could buy you 3 at the drugstore.
