Last night I had my first private lesson with Yasmine. She is awesome! I needed to go over the cane dance for the recital and I wanted her to critique my solo. She gave me some great suggestions on arm placement and a few steps. But most of all she gave me encouragement and support. I can't express how much it meant to me and how it has given me a boost on how I feel about my dancing abilities.

I've been on tribe for awhile and I read the posts that both teachers and students write and I really feel sad for those who do not have a supportive and truly caring teacher/mentor.
