Hello all my faery sisters. Many cities have a faery coffee on Saturay's. It would be a lovely idea hear! I know very few faeries in SD and would love to see our community grow more together. I am open to ideas, and would love to hear from as many of you as possible!!

Thu, August 23, 2007 - 4:16 PMThis Saturday I will be in Oceanside doing readings at Kindred Journeys, they are having an Intuitive Fair. I am there from 10am - 6pm. There is a very nice coffee shop next door. If Oceanside is not to far, it would be great to meet there for a first faery coffee. Otherwise... I live in central SD, and was thinking maybe Calabria Cafe, or the Otherside Coffee Shop. I am very open to ideas and much input! We are here now lets come together...

Jitters proved to be a wonderful place to host a faery coffee, it is a lovely/funky coffee shop, and the atosphere and clientel was very inviting. I had a great time, although I was the only one in attendence. Oceanside is a bit far north.
I was going to announce this weekends Faery Coffee to be held on Sunday, as well as a location in the SD area - such as North Park'ish... The glitch in this is that I may be going out of town for the holiday weekend. I would love to see someone keep the Coffee going this Sunday. The Otherside Coffee Shop is often a good location, I love Calabria's coffee and staff, but since I will most likely not be hear it will depend on what is chosen by whom ever with be attending. Justin - you could (maybe) call the location???
I am looking for this to be our community gathering, to come together, NOT "my" event, so even if I am unable to attend (I wil also be traveling to Tennessee to vist by dad who is very ill, as well as attending the Short Mt. Fall Gathering) it would be great for someone - anyone - to feel moved to call the next coffee gathering location.
The seed has been planted, now lets watter it as a community.

Come one, come all to the Sunday edition of Faerie Coffee, this Sunday, September 2nd, at Caffe Calabria on 30th Street, just north of University-----> 11am <----- Be there or be queer. Wait--er, I mean... Be there AND be queer! Post here if you plan on coming and we'll trade fashion secrets so we know what kind of clothing to watch for when we're trying to find each other. I'm thinking I'll wear my sparkly pasties and my glittery fuschia panties--and nothing else whatsoever.
Okay, maybe not. But I'll try to at least make myself noticeable. I look forward to seeing/meeting all of you there!

And I am still in town. Virgil and I took our to boys (kittens) in Friday morning to be neutered (yes queens hold your nuts). One kitten - Enkidu - had one testicle that had not decended. This complicated a simple procedure, and called for more invasive surgery. As a result he requires supervision over the next couple of day, and 2 weeks for recovery (verses one day recovery).
All that said, I will be there with bells on... Well, maybe not bells. But I could where wear bells, I have some really cute ones... Oh... Anyway. I will be there. And I usually stand out a bit anyway... ;-)
