Sorry for laggin, I was out, here is some info...

This year Yuri's Night is being held at the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park.

Without completely busting the proverbial pinata, here are some of the goodies you can look forward to:
* awesome music on multiple stages including an aquarium filled with ambient floaty/spacey sounds from Sariah Storm and others. the Academy is working out a way to pipe these sounds all over the venue via the built-in PA system such that the entire building feels like a space station floating somewhere in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
* in addition to lectures and NASA curated planetarium action, we've got satellites on the living roof and an uplink from an orbiting satellite with badass views of distant galaxys and a space nerd telling you about them.

important point: this event will sell out. and very soon. why? its a cocktail of frolicking adults (only!), science, NASA, exotic fish, rainforest and a cheaper than half price ticket to the CAS without any of those whiny kids.
