if you are taking the group improv class at Tribal Solstice, bring along some music you would like to improv to..Preferably, a piece you have not really performed to, but it should be music you are somewhat familiar with, and maybe would like to perform to at some point. Should be less than 5 minutes..the shorter the better. I am trying something different with this class. Sure, I'll be teaching one Adelpha combo that will work with most 4/4 music and tempos, but the emphasis on the class will be on my experiences with improv that might be useful to you... I am not promising we are going to get to everyone's selections, so that is why short pieces are best. Please spread the word..I won't get to everyone because I have no idea who is registered, but we'll give it a shot with the music provided by you.
