Our March Meeting is the ANNUAL ELECTION for the HABDA Board
Saturday Afternoon ~~ March 24th ~~ 2 pm @ Sirrom.
This is the annual meeting were we take nominations from the floor for the elected positions on the board. Once nominations are complete, those in attendance at the meeting will submit their votes. New officers take office effective April 1st!
The transition of the positions will be an easy one – the outgoing board members will gently lead you through the process. And a few of us will attend the board meetings for the first few months to help you keep the ball rolling. What we are saying is no experience is necessary – it’s all about what you desire to contribute to the dance community at large by becoming a member of the board.
New members are welcome to run – you can join / re-new at the meeting. So if you have not submitted your 2007 dues you can do so at the meeting.
AND - FREE MONEY for dance workshops! There will be a drawing for 2 Dance Scholarships worth $100.00 each! All current 2007 members in attendance are eligible. Did I mention - FREE MONEY?
AND – we’ll all take suggestions from the floor about what you’d like to see HABDA do in 2007/08!
