Thanks to those that came out and auditioned this last weekend - those called back have been notified.

So that those unable to attend last weekend will still have the chance to audition, we have extended the audition to this weekend. From 2 - 3pm the initial auditions for those that missed coming on the 12th will occur. From 3 - 5 pm will be the callback auditions, including choreography taught in 32 - 64 measure combinations and then repeated for the judging panel.

If you don't play zills, please don't let that stop you from auditioning. There will be scenes where it's not necessary.

To answer many of the questions being asked:
The show format is a play with dancing. The story is the life of a dancer - her experiences from the mid 60's to the 90's, and her influences during that time. Scenes will be staged to include classroom, nightclub, village, and theatrical stage settings. The acting roles will be cast in July, but dance rehearsals will begin more quickly. Rehearsals will occur late on Saturday afternoons. (the 3 or 4pm time frame). There will be principal soloists as well as supporting dance roles cast.
