I know Zoe's feeling the love from her fellow dancers since her stuff got swiped, but I would really like to help with her getting some new stuff of her own choosing. I thought if we can get 100 people here to donate $5, that would giver her $500 bucks to get some new jewelry with. Sure when we're talking rajasthani thats like 2 bracelets, but it would be to her liking for sure. And yeah, beggars can't be choosers, but I also think givers shouldn't always be 'pickers'. I'm sure Zoe appreciates anything anyone is sending to her, but alas I have nothing appropriate to send and I want to do 'something'.
I don't know if Medina would be willing to let us use the same paypal account as the makeup fund to send donations to? Please chime in if you can or if you have an alternative.

thanks so much for all your support everybody, i know Zoe is humbled and so grateful of your kindness. i told her that she is so incredibly inspiring to people that it is no wonder so much help has come her way.
as for costume recoup, i am making her a costume to replace her "Sari costume" and Rose Harden is making her a new "black and white button" costume. plus we were able to get ALL her makeup replaced with the donations collected so far, Miss Zoe is well on her way to recouping the loss!

As for the comission, it depends on what kind of account you have. I have an account set up so I can accept CC's so like if I get $40 they take $1.40 or something. Theres a basic account where they don't take anything, I'm not sure what Medina has but if you want to add a couple of extra cents just in case feel free! -

But if you really want to help Zoe buy new stuff, register for one of her workshops in an area near you. Support her earning her living, and learn some kick ass new moves.
She is teaching a 3-day workshop in Vegas in October.

I want to let you all know that it was through the support of the community that I was able to spring back so quickly. I won't lie, this has been very hard...an experience like this is violating, intrusive, and as an artist, has shaken me to my roots. Yet I have through it all been given the opportunity to see just how lucky and supported I am...for that I am extremely lucky. Please don't worry about all that stuff...new things have been found, gifted and replaced....there are others in much worse situations than me right now....just hearing from you guys has made me turn this into a positive experience.

The 'word' has kind of died down it seems, I don't know if we got any closer to the goal and if not should be keep trying? She does at least have the $338 to go shopping with regardless, and I'm so glad to see she's found some peace of mind.
Zoe, we luvs ya! Whatever you buy with the fund money make sure each time you look at it to remind yourself of that ;)
