So some of us have started out trek to Oregon already others will be leaving over the next few days and by Thursday we will all be together again, How Awesome.
Just a few notes to all, Peach Jam will be rolling into Portland on Tuesday for a Great Big Ol' jam fest at the 9 muses on Belmont, this gig starts early and will most likely go late, and hay showing up to hear some great music is also showing your support for the Friends Of Zumwalt.
I got the chance to meet these fine folks last weekend at Zumwalt for park clean up, what a lovely bunch o coconuts’ tee hee, These lovely people have been the force behind keeping this wonderful space open and so in turn making it available for us once a year, really without that effort we would not have a lovely Zumwalt to gather together in each year, so Hat's off to Friends of Zumwalt and all you do.
And hay we are asking everyone this year to help out just a little more with a Buck for the Bucket one $ from each camper will not only help The Friends of Zumwalt with gas for the mowers, bag’s for rubbish and time spent making it a pristine spot but it will mean it doesn’t have to come out of there pockets, I think it's the least I can do to say thanks. And really who doesn’t have a buck.
The water is wonderful the mosquito’s are hungry and the park looks great is ready to welcome us again.
